Modeler with MEP (mechanical, electrical & plumbing) to join our Toronto team. This role will be in the office 5 days per week.This is a position to work on projects in the rail (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars) industry in the Toronto office.The Responsibilities in this role include:
Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, and layouts from sketches in the areas of Rail & transit specific design for our clients
Revit modelling and drawing
AutoCAD drawing preparation
Conduct quality control checks of design drawings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Graduate of a Civil\Mechanical Engineering Technology or engineering program
Must have 5-6 years of experience preferably with an Engineering background and experience with MEP
Rail engineering experience a strong asset
Proficiency Revit
Proficiency in Civil 3D is required
AutoCAD proficiency is an asset
Meticulous attention to detail essential
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Strong mathematical skills
Exposure to a construction environment would be considered an asset
Exposure to Structural design would be an asset
Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment
Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
Willingness to work overtime when required
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Good oral and written communication abilities essential
