Maybe you are an Inditex person./ ABOUT THE ROLEThe Head of Logistics will develop strategies to optimize B2B and B2C logistics operations, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction aligning with the company’s objectives and growth targets. Drive sustainable logistics practices by optimizing inventory flow, reducing environmental impact, and implementing eco-friendly solutions throughout the supply chain. They champion continuous improvement by enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and ensuring the distribution process aligns with ZARA’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for logistics operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Oversee logistics operations across several sites
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and best practices across all sites
  • Ensure smooth and timely inbound and outbound logistics operations/SLAs agreements
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring their effectiveness in the quality of service provided
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and evaluate key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as commercial, operational, transport, customer service, IT
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and optimize supply chain resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Develop and manage the logistics department’s budget, ensuring cost control while achieving business objectives.
  • Implement sustainable logistics practices.
/ ABOUT THE IDEAL PROFILE
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven leadership and team management skills (teams across multiple locations)
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environments and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in logistics processes.
