- Develop and implement strategic plans for logistics operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Oversee logistics operations across several sites
- Establish and maintain standardized processes and best practices across all sites
- Ensure smooth and timely inbound and outbound logistics operations/SLAs agreements
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring their effectiveness in the quality of service provided
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and evaluate key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as commercial, operational, transport, customer service, IT
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and optimize supply chain resilience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain operations.
- Develop and manage the logistics department’s budget, ensuring cost control while achieving business objectives.
- Implement sustainable logistics practices.
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven leadership and team management skills (teams across multiple locations)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environments and handle multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
