Care Centres - Physiotherapist

- Status: Contractor
- Schedule: Fly-in/Fly-out - 1 week every month, week can be decided at contractor's choice
- Conduct comprehensive one on one assessments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and client education.
- Functional and musculoskeletal assessments for workers on modified duties or restrictions
- Support for return to work planning and progression, in collaboration with the onsite clinic
- Optional individual physiotherapy sessions for workers seeking treatment (billed to insurance or self-pay)
- General injury prevention or education support as time allows
- Manage the full continuum of physiotherapy care: assessment, intervention, progress tracking, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with the standards of the College of Physiotherapists.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and guidance on treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the integration of physiotherapy within broader care programs such as workplace accommodations and return to work support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- 2–4 years of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions and/or chronic pain management
- Proven knowledge of physiotherapy practices related to the assessment and treatment of complex and chronic pain conditions
- Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based approaches in musculoskeletal assessment and pain management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients, families, interdisciplinary team members, external stakeholders, and community therapists
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including proficiency in clinical documentation and report writing
- Ability to work independently while contributing actively to a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with sound clinical judgment and effective problem-solving abilities
