Our client is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead to join their ERP transformation team. This opportunity sits at the intersection of business process optimization and enterprise technology delivery, supporting a recent move to S/4HANA on RISE. This position is based in Downtown Calgary with a flexible hybrid work model. The Finance Lead will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and IT, guiding strategic initiatives and process improvements across core S/4HANA Finance modules. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience optimizing post-upgrade environments and will contribute to the long-term roadmap for finance technology transformation.What you will be doing:Strategic & Operational LeadershipLead process improvement and system stabilization efforts across core Finance modules (FI/CO, PS, TRM, Cash Management)Partner with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute finance-related system enhancementsDesign and support real-time reporting, automation, and analytics aligned with finance objectivesSupport month-end close streamlining and automation initiativesDefine a multi-year vision for finance system capabilities and enhancementsTechnical & Functional ExpertiseServe as a senior SME on finance module configurations, integrations, and customizationsOversee integration between the core ERP and satellite finance systems (consolidation, planning, etc.)Conduct testing and validation for system changes and enhancementsContribute to control design, audit readiness, and system reliability through automation and documentationWhat you must have:8+ years of SAP Finance experience; minimum 3 years hands-on with S/4HANA FinanceDemonstrated success leading post-upgrade stabilization and optimization effortsExperience with configuration of FI/CO modules; additional exposure to Project Systems, Treasury, or Cash Management preferredStrong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to guide both technical and business teamsBachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related discipline required; CPA or SAP Finance certification is an assetSalary/Rate Range: $130,000.00 -160,000.00For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
