Employment Type: Part-TimeEligibilityThis position is only open to candidates currently residing in Iqaluit, NU or the surrounding area.About the RoleThe Storehouse Bar & Grill, located inside the Frobisher Inn, is seeking a reliable and guest-focused Coat Check & Floor Support team member. This role combines coat check responsibilities with light bussing and floor support during busy service periods to help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the coat check area, ensuring coats and personal items are received, stored, and returned efficiently
  • Politely remind guests to remove coats when required to maintain comfort and safety
  • Observe guest activity near entrances and coat areas and notify bar security of any concerns or incidents
  • Assist with table clearing, glassware removal, and resetting tables during rush periods
  • Support servers and bar staff to maintain clean and organized service areas
  • Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas throughout the venue
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive guest interaction
Qualifications
  • Hospitality, bar support, or customer service experience is an asset
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
