We want to offer them innovative litter that meets both their needs and yours.Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Vice President of Operational Strategies, Quality, and Innovation, the Director of Engineering plays a key role in the organization’s growth and performance. As the leader of the engineering functions, this individual directs, structures, and optimizes teams to support the strategic vision of the organization’s five plants in North America.As a technical expert and inspirational leader, the Director of Engineering plays a direct role in ensuring operational continuity, delivering large-scale projects, and integrating value-adding innovations.Responsibilities:
  • Define and oversee the capital expenditure (CAPEX) strategy in alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor engineering budgets related to projects and infrastructure.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee engineering projects to ensure delivery within deadlines, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Analyze the technical and economic feasibility of initiatives and build structured business cases to support decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing technology monitoring to identify innovations, guide technical choices, and recommend strategic investments.
  • Oversee activities related to the maintenance of buildings and mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
  • Manage requests for proposals, contracts, and negotiations with contractors and specialized suppliers.
  • Act as a leader of change by mobilizing teams and promoting continuous improvement across the organization.
QualificationsCe que nous cherchons :
  • Diplôme universitaire en génie mécanique, industriel ou production automatisée.
  • 8 à 10 ans d’expérience en gestion d’ingénierie dans un environnement manufacturier.
  • Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Expertise en gestion de projets d’envergure (plus de 3 M$) et certification PMP (atout).
  • Maîtrise des outils MS Office, AutoCAD et SAP, connaissance des logiciels 3D (atout).
  • Excellentes aptitudes en leadership, communication et gestion du changement.
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais pour soutenir nos opérations à l’extérieur du Québec.
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements occasionnels (Canada, États-Unis) et passeport valide.
  • Sens de l’initiative et capacité à travailler efficacement avec peu de supervision.
