Join our dynamic team and contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact across the globe.We are seeking Lab Technician for our Surface Treatment Department to join our Team at Raytheon ELCAN. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing chemical baths for our processes, making chemical additions to maintain the baths, recording data and troubleshooting when challenges arise. You will collaborate closely with co-workers in addition to Process Planners and Engineering to trouble shoot and navigate through various production challenges. Continuous improvement and cost reductions will also be requested regularly during day to day activities.   • Understanding of Surface Treatment Processes and techniques (Anodizing, Plating, etc)
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical instruments
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a lab environment
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials safely
  • Meticulous in documenting experimental data and maintaining lab records
  • Analytical reasoning, decision making
  • Proactive team builder
  • Effectual interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
Education and Technical Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and/or Metallurgy
  • Minimum 3 year of experience working in a production environment
  • Technical ability to interpret drawings
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
