
Equipment Sales Representative

- Represent SMS Equipment in all business transactions with professionalism and integrity
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant practices
- Study the market, plan prospecting activities, and maintain accurate client records
- Identify customer needs and recommend equipment solutions that align with their goals
- Prepare proposals, communicate pricing and terms, and support post-sale follow-up
- Collaborate with credit and product support teams to ensure seamless customer service
- This role does require you to travel throughout your assigned territory. Over nights may be required.
- A minimum of 5 years of industrial or heavy equipment sales experience
- Familiarity with large construction equipment and related industries
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Valid Class 5/G driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed
