
Principal Technical Product Manager, Simulation - East Coast US and Canada Remote

- Own the product vision and strategy for Comet Simulation.
- Design, build, and iterate on simulation capabilities that accurately model real-world production processes and resource flows.
- Drive the development of a digital twin of our Fulfillment platform to enable predictive and prescriptive analytics across fulfillment operations.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps, user stories, and feature sets, grounded in customer problems and strategic goals.
- Partner with other product leads, engineering and data, to deliver performant simulation models that support dynamic scenario testing and forecasting.
- Champion usability and observability, ensuring that users can intuitively interact with the simulation and interpret results confidently.
- Evaluate smart partnership opportunities with leading providers of simulation and digital twin products.
- Develop a feedback loop and telemetry strategy to monitor how the simulation is used and measure its impact on throughput, resource utilization, and decision quality.
- Serve as a thought leader in the digital simulation space, keeping abreast of trends in Industry 4.0, digital twins, and smart manufacturing.
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in simulation, modeling, digital twin, manufacturing systems, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of B2B platforms, production planning, operations research, or decision support systems.
- Proven track record in launching data-rich, technically sophisticated products with measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles, including lean, just-in-time (JIT), capacity planning, and resource scheduling.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and operational users.
- Strong product sense and UX intuition-able to turn complex systems into usable interface
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills-clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Analytical approach with experience in defining critical metrics and using data to influence product strategy.
- Build-versus-Buy thinking has to be a part of your DNA.
- Formal education in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with tools like AnyLogic, Simio, FlexSim, or similar simulation environments.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale or platform products in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain domains.
- Ability to create or guide the creation of high-level wireframes or prototypes.
