The Market Sales Leader (MSL) is accountable for driving profitable sales growth, developing people, increasing market share, and strengthening customer relationships within the regional marketplace. This role leads the execution of the Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) Playbook, partnering closely with Frontline Independent Operators to grow both the business and our teams. The MSL applies strong leadership and sales expertise to deliver world-class sales and merchandising execution, meet customer needs, and support the personal and professional development of others while contributing to a high-performance, people-first culture.Key ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do
- Lead with purpose by modelling DSDE practices and Bimbo Canada values every day
- Set clear goals, inspire performance, and build a culture of continuous improvement
- Drive profitable growth by identifying new opportunities and executing strong sales plans
- Coach and develop Independent Operators through hands-on leadership and feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting a zero-injury safety culture
- Lead consistent execution of world-class DSD sales and merchandising practices
- Use sales data and digital tools to make smart, store-level decisions
- Build trusted customer relationships that deliver results
- Partner with Marketing to support regional initiatives
- Sales and returns performance vs. plan
- Strong execution of sales and merchandising standards
- Growth in distribution, promotion, and in-store execution
- Improved SOP compliance across the region
- Proven sales leadership and business acumen
- A people-first mindset with strong coaching skills
- Accountability, ownership, and the ability to influence and inspire
- A customer-focused, results-driven approach
- Preferred post-secondary education and related experience
- 1-3 years' sales experience, preferably in a CPG and/or Direct Sales Delivery (DSD) environment
- Demonstrated people and business growth results
- Developed effective sales management accountability system
- Built commitment and teamwork while maintaining a creative and positive work environment
- Proficient Technology and Computer skills: proficient at Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Requirements:
- Frequent Walking
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds
- Same day travel for rural sales calls
- Occasional overnight stays
