
FP&A Analyst

- Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Help analyze financial data to understand performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Performance Reporting: Support the annual budgeting process by gathering data from various departments and assisting in the preparation of budget templates and schedules.
- Operational Analysis: Partner with operation teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide financial support for strategic initiatives. This includes analyzing cost of service, fleet utilization, and fuel costs.
- Data Management: Maintain and update financial models and databases. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports.
- Strategic Support: Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities, capital expenditure requests, and other strategic projects by performing financial modeling and analysis for senior leadership.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership's decision-making and respond to business needs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role. Experience within the logistics or a high-growth company is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
