- Schedule: 14 x 14 (days/nights) 12 hour shifts (paid 11.5 hrs)

- Truck Rate: Separate and based on tooling
- Work Duration: 6 months +, may be extended
- Tentative start date: March 18, 2026
- Transportation: Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts)
- Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week
- Up to a base rate of pay of $45.17/hour, varying with experience level.
- Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay allocated to each paycheck.
- Earn up to 61 hours of overtime per 14-day rotation

- Complete repairs on mining equipment, including Haul Trucks, Excavators, Shovels, and Dozers (CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu).
- Develop a work scope.
- Fabricate from blueprints.
- Complete reports and fill out work orders when required.
- Follow NACG codes of practice and safety procedures.
- Red Seal/Alberta Journeyperson Welder with 1-2 years of heavy equipment repair experience (preferably large Trucks/Dozers/Shovels/Excavators).
- Experience with mobile equipment repairs, ice lugging, lancing, and gouging.
- Trained and experienced with Stick, MIG and large wire-feed welders, radiograph, Cooper-heat, Plasma cutter, Lance, overhead crane, etc…
- Ability to work outside if necessary.

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal .

- Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada)
- Silica Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
- Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
- OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
- H2S Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
- Field Ergonomics (Energy Safety Canada)
- Be subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:
- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
- After all results and paperwork are received by NASI, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
