Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected organization in their search for a Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional to manage high-volume, multi-provincial payrolls, support both union and non-union employee groups, and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of a growing organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for employees across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in payroll and time-tracking systems.
- Calculate, process, and remit statutory deductions, benefit premiums, and related payables.
- Prepare internal and external payroll reports as required.
- Manage Records of Employment (ROEs) in accordance with Service Canada guidelines.
- Support year-end processes including T4 and RL1 preparation and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related inquiries.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation preferred.
- 1–3 years of payroll processing experience; multi-provincial payroll experience is an asset.
- Experience with CanPay or similar payroll software preferred (training provided if needed).
- Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience processing both unionized and non-unionized payroll is an asset.
- Competitive salary, ranging from approximately $50,000+ depending on experience.
