- Guiding Franchise Partners and their bookkeepers on basic financial matters, including POS and QuickBooks.
- Collaborating with the procurement team on inventory management.
- Supervising sales data exports from in-house systems to accounting software.
- Managing vendor payments and franchisee accounts receivable.
- Ensuring tax compliance, filing, planning, and reporting.
- Overseeing payroll and employee records for our office team.
- Handling full-cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, and month/year-end closings.
- Developing and presenting financial statements, forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Improving financial policies and processes as needed.
- Coordinating and managing the budgeting process while controlling expenses.

- CPA designation.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- 5+ years of experience leading financial teams in a growth-focused environment.
- Hands-on payroll processing expertise.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Experience working in franchise operations or multi-jurisdiction organizations is an asset but not required.
- Deep understanding of federal and provincial financial and tax regulations.
