Job Description :Partner Staffing is the "go to recruiter" for difficult, important, and time sensitive positions in Western Canada. We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking a Manager of Applications – International who will play a key role within the Engineering team, supporting international sales opportunities by overseeing proposal development, cost estimating, and technical support. This role bridges the gap between sales, engineering, and operations to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements. The Manager is also responsible for fostering collaboration, driving process improvements, and ensuring the seamless transition of awarded projects to execution teams.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Development & Technical Support
  • Collaborate with Sales and Regional Account Managers to meet international RFQ expectations
  • Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), and Process Engineering teams to develop proposal designs
  • Prepare cost estimates and generate formal quotations for Alco product lines
  • Obtain quotations from sub-suppliers, reviewing proposals for both technical and commercial accuracy
  • Provide technical support to project management, drafting, and production during execution phases
  • Initiate and prepare piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and preliminary general arrangements
  • Review and interpret project specifications to ensure proposal accuracy, completeness, and compliance with RFP requirements
  • Conduct handoff/kick-off meetings post-award to communicate package requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and efficiency gains.
