
Commercial Account Assistant - Hybrid

- Work closely with team to provide support on policy changes, renewals, new business, proposals, follow ups, binders, slips, finance contracts and scanning documents
- Ensure special attention is paid to timelines on preparation of liability slips, memorandums of insurance, certificates of insurance
- Support and update documentation in the Broker Management System (EPIC)
- Manage and respond to emails from Commercial Account Assistant inbox/queue
- Prioritize work received from (and other duties as assigned) by Manager, Commercial Account Representatives & Commercial Brokering
- RIBO license or ability to obtain
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience with Broker Management System (EPIC) would be an asset
- Customer-centric, friendly and professional at all times
- Exceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products
- Professional, responsive, and a positive work attitude is essential
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time while working independently
- CIP, CAIB, CRM (or working towards designation) would be an asset
