Border Paving Ltd. is hiring seasonal crew members for the 2026 construction season.We are currently looking for:
  • Asphalt Rakers
  • Screed Personnel
  • Paver, Roller & Packer Operators
  • Grade Person
  • Skilled Labourers
These positions involve working outdoors in varying conditions and are a good fit for individuals who are reliable, safety minded and comfortable with seasonal construction work.Job Responsibilities
  • Follow company safety polices and safe work procedures
  • Interact professionally with the public
  • Load, unload and move construction materials around worksite
  • Follow Alberta Transportation Traffic Accommodation in Work Zones requirements
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance
  • Work with hot and cold mix asphalt and gravel materials
  • Assist with grading and slope control
  • Mark manholes and water valves as required
  • Perform raking duties (including joints and seams) and communicate with roller operators to achieve quality results.
  • Perform general labour duties
Qualifications
  • Previous asphalt or construction experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with paving equipment and job site hazards
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license (required)
  • Current driver's abstract (required prior to hire)
