In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR support, providing coordination across payroll, benefits, recruitment, employee records, and performance management activities.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, adaptable HR professional who is looking to expand into broader HR responsibilities and grow their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.Pay Rate: $65,000 - $72,000 annually (dependent on experience)Location: Gold River, BCJob type: Permanent | Full-timeACCOMMODATIONS/RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLEResponsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries across all business unitsCoordinate payroll changes, employee updates, and time/leave tracking in collaboration with the Finance teamSupport group benefits and pension administration, including enrolments, changes, and terminationsMaintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR tracking systemsAssist with recruitment activities, including job postings, onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentationPrepare HR letters, reports, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and discretionSupport performance review follow-up and assist managers with employee-related questions and processesLeverage Microsoft 365 tools (including Excel, Copilot, and Power Apps) to track data and improve HR processesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR operationsQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldCPHR designation or candidacy is requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, and/or benefits administrationAdvanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across Microsoft 365 toolsExperience with Payworks payroll and Manulife benefits is considered an assetStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detailValid driver's license and access to a vehicle (rural location with limited public transportation)Ability to successfully complete an RCMP Criminal Record Check upon offerMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
