- Bachelors' degree in Engineering or Business Management.
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
- Lean management system and selected Lean tool application.
- Proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (workshops and trainings).
- Strong analytical capability with ability to influence without authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of associates.
- Able to create collaborative relationships while navigating complex challenges with associates.
- Action oriented with strong technical skills while dealing with a high level of ambiguity.
- Food Manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- 2+ years of experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods (specifically, AM, PM, FI, and ET) is highly preferred.
- Training in PMI Project Management, food safety, associate safety, P&L principles, and Supply/Manufacturing practice is highly preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualification is an asset.
- Knowledgeable in SAP/JDA is an asset.
- Conduct and coordinate time studies and analysis to identify and quantify opportunities or shortfalls in the value stream and/or direct cost financial performance.
- Be willing to stand alone on priorities that are best for the site by challenging the mind-set of associates and the current ways of working.
- Lead site and business KPI's based action plans for performance improvement.
- Conduct capacity and utilization analysis that identify bottlenecks, potential solutions and opportunities for business growth.
- Conduct and coordinate studies and analysis to identify and quantify process and product quality and/or capacity constraints and opportunities to increase throughput.
- Utilize mathematical and/or statistical modelling techniques to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Develop proposed equipment layouts, operational designs and material flows, which impact direct cost elements with a vision toward achieving plant long-term objectives.
- Partner with the Central Industrial Engineering team, technical and operation groups to review upcoming projects, conduct cost analysis, support capital planning and ensure that operational needs are given full consideration when developing solutions.
- Provide analytical support and resources to perform studies that verify the effectiveness of solutions implemented by site and corporate teams.
- Own the MCP (Master Capacity Planning) file for the site and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain site standards for changeovers, waste, and run rates through time studies, data analysis, and performance reviews.
- Analyze demand forecast data to evaluate SKU rates; collaborate with the planning team to adjust schedules and optimize production.
- Drive structured problem-solving, waste reduction and loss elimination across the site.
- Oversee data management and reporting systems; define and manage operational standards to ensure consistent site performance.
- Identify performance gaps, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement high-impact initiatives to maximize efficiency.
- Optimize production costs (COGS/MCC/NQC) and improve overall profitability through Value Leadership program.
