
Inside Account Manager

- Quote Generation & Support: Assist the sales team by preparing detailed quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing, product specs, discounts, and attached drawings.
- Order Conversion & Verification: Help convert quotes into actionable sales orders and verify all documentation-including drawings and deposits-are complete before proceeding to production or engineering.
- Process Navigation: Determine which orders can go directly to production and which require engineering review, avoiding internal or external delays.
- Dealer Engagement: Maintain regular communication with dealers, responding promptly to inquiries and providing clear delivery timelines or updates on project statuses.
- Follow-Up & Tracking: Conduct follow-ups on active quotes, track responses and feedback, and log all updates in shared electronic records.
- Lead Sourcing: Research and track new business leads or potential dealer opportunities, providing reports when requested.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, resolving order discrepancies swiftly.
- Electronic Filing: Maintain clean, organized electronic folders and sales documentation for accessibility and team collaboration.
- Information Relay: Share relevant dealer feedback with management to assist in continuous improvement and strategic decisions.
- Escalation Management: Notify management of any issues that cannot be resolved independently and require escalation.
- Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management, contributing to overall departmental efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- A diploma or degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is an asset.
- 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a customer service role-preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings or quoting tools is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach to client interactions.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with a proactive attitude, able to troubleshoot and resolve challenges effectively.
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional collaboration with sales, production, and engineering teams.
