As our network expands, our head office plays a crucial role in supporting our franchisees across Canada and the U.S.We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our corporate team. This is a hands-on role working under the direct supervision of our Finance Director, giving you the opportunity to build your expertise in accounting for a multi-location, franchise-based business.What You’ll Do
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and analysis for multiple franchise locations
  • Support the Finance Director with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Track budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate records for internal reporting
  • Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Assist in preparing documents and reconciliations for audits
  • Contribute to improving accounting workflows and systems as we scale
What We’re Looking For
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance (or nearing completion)
  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping or junior accounting experience
  • Currently pursuing, or planning to pursue, an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with accounting software
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals
  • Comfortable working in a growing, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Availability to work full-time (30–40 hours per week)
