What you will do
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Plan and manage large-scale information technology development and implementation projects to ensure business objectives and stakeholder needs and expectations are met
- Work closely with other Tech Leads to ensure the success of the portfolio and the projects
- Participate in the development of project management standards and methodologies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk management plans and strategies to ensure project success.
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Participate and/or drive vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
- Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
- Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and manage
- Provide direction and support to project teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on risk management, stakeholder management, and large-scale project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel)
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodology
- Experience with risk management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of budget management
