Atlassian Training Specialist (6-Month Contract)Position Overview: Our client, a dynamic organization focusing on digital enablement, is seeking a Atlassian Training Specialist to join their team for a high-impact, 6-month contract. This role is a perfect launchpad for an early-career professional or a freelance expert looking to dive deep into enterprise-level training delivery. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be the face of user enablement, helping teams master Jira and Confluence to unlock new ways of working.   • Dynamic Training Delivery: Lead engaging introductory and refresher sessions for Jira and Confluence in both live and virtual environments.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Assist with specialized workshops covering Jira basics (workflows, boards, filters) and Confluence essentials (spaces, templates, collaboration).
  • Content Innovation: Create and maintain high-quality learning materials, including slide decks, quick reference guides, and "How-to" FAQs.
  • User Advocacy: Act as the first point of contact for training-related inquiries, identifying common learning gaps and suggesting continuous improvements to content.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Atlassian administrators, Agile coaches, and change leads to support system migrations and rollout initiatives.
  • Customized Enablement: Adapt third-party materials and tailor training content to resonate with diverse audiences, from new starters to team leads.
Requirements:
  • Technical Foundation: At least three (3) years of experience with a solid working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Certified Expertise: Possession of relevant ACP (Atlassian Certified Professional) qualifications.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Organizational Prowess: Excellent attention to detail and comfort managing documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Professional Versatility: Ability to work on a sub-contractor or freelance basis, potentially alongside existing projects.
  • Growth Mindset: Previous exposure to Agile concepts or experience creating formal documentation is highly desirable.
  • Location: This is a remote Canadian opportunity, with a preference for candidates located in Manitoba or the East Coast.
