- Plan, execute, and manage IT audits, including risk assessments, control testing, and audit reporting.
- Lead a team of IT auditors and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, cybersecurity measures, and data privacy practices.
- Support integrated audits and provide IT-related insights to business process audits.
- Monitor and assess compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements (if applicable), and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT audit plan based on risk assessments and emerging technology trends.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to understand strategic initiatives, identify risks, and offer proactive recommendations.
- Stay current on technology, cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and audit practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the audit team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 6+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, information security, or IT risk management.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
- Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity controls, ERP systems, and data analytics.
- Proficient in audit software and tools such as ACL, TeamMate, or similar.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
