--What will your typical day look like?The Manager of IT Internal Audit is responsible for leading and executing audits and assessments of the organization’s IT environment, applications, and processes. This role ensures that technology-related risks are appropriately identified and mitigated, and that IT controls are effectively designed and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to partner with stakeholders across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and manage IT audits, including risk assessments, control testing, and audit reporting.
  • Lead a team of IT auditors and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, cybersecurity measures, and data privacy practices.
  • Support integrated audits and provide IT-related insights to business process audits.
  • Monitor and assess compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements (if applicable), and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT audit plan based on risk assessments and emerging technology trends.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to understand strategic initiatives, identify risks, and offer proactive recommendations.
  • Stay current on technology, cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and audit practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the audit team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, information security, or IT risk management.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Certifications (preferred):
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity controls, ERP systems, and data analytics.
  • Proficient in audit software and tools such as ACL, TeamMate, or similar.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $74,000 - $156,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
