Senior Accounting Manager

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and development
• Partner with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and operational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements and support system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes

• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and internal controls
• Previous experience in the retail industry or other multi-location, inventory-heavy environments preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience considered an asset
