Job Summary:Oliver Irrigation is seeking a Junior Irrigation Service Technician with a knack for mechanical systems and a keen interest in pursuing an electrical apprenticeship. As a junior technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal operation. This role is suited for an individual eager to apply and develop their mechanical and electrical skills in a hands-on environment.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and pursue educational opportunities for electrical certification.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians in project execution and learn best practices in irrigation system management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding clients’ needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and standards.
  • Prepare and maintain reports documenting services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Requirements Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
