Your leadership ensures regulatory compliance, strengthens environmental performance, and supports Newmont’s sustainability commitments at site level.As part of our team, you will

Lead and coach Compliance Technicians to meet environmental regulations
Monitor site environmental performance and report incidents and trends
Conduct audits and inspections against permits and policies
Manage environmental reporting and regulatory submissions
Partner with regulators, First Nations, and contractors
Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years’ experience in environmental compliance within mining or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of federal and provincial environmental regulations
Experience leading teams and preparing compliance reports
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Remote camp setting with private accommodations

Travel allowance and transportation arrangements provided
Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off
