We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, solid ERP experience, and the ability to support financial analysis and reporting requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and perform full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
  • Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
  • Conduct cost and variance analysis and provide actionable insights
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage government remittances (HST/GST, payroll taxes, and other statutory filings)
  • Support and collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel tools for reporting, analysis, and data management
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
  • Strong experience with Accounting ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with cost accounting and variance analysis
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
