TalentSphere has partnered with a well established Architecture firm with an office in Calgary to assist them in finding a talented Interior Design Technologist or Architectural Technologist with experience detailing interiors, to join their talented team. This firm have an excellent reputation for high quality work and have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing both large scale developments as well as small, unique projects across a wide variety of sectors. This firm are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they continue to produce award winning projects and provide excellent service delivery to their clients.THE JOB
This role would suit a well rounded architectural technologist at an intermediate or senior level (5 - 12 years of experience) who is comfortable to work on all phases of interior production including being able to do a high level design and drawing of details for interiors. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for great design work and will come from a background demonstrating this, even if they haven't been extensively involved in design. The role will have you giving input into design development, production, detailing, interior detailing, construction documents, development permits, submittals and tender, city liaison, project management and assisting junior staff. You will be involved in a variety of projects across different sectors, both small and large. Ideally you would be capable with both architectural and interior technology work.WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills and be well versed in working with a variety of work, ideally including some retail, commercial, public, hospitality and similar project experience is an asset. You will be capable of working independently as well as in teams.Technical skills must include designing details, interior detailing, producing full working drawing packages and construction documents and development permits. In additional to good technical you must have strong Revit skills.
