Job DescriptionThe Digital Construction & Technology Coordinator - VDC/BIM is responsible for modeling, 4D creation, clash coordination (2D and 3D) and logistic plans. This role needs to interact with CCM team members and teamwork is vital to this position.Key Functions & Duties
Assist and support projects and pursuits in the production of models along with the analysis, creation, and management of Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D drawings use these processes:
Data collection
Model/file management
Build virtual models
Clash detection
4D stimulation/schedules
Renderings
Animations
Site logistics plans
Add in the coordination/creation of site support drawings as required
Prepare and revise 3D BIM models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD as required
Documentation and printing
Read and review documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications with the ability to create models from these
Utilize collaboration techniques for information management, implement Building information Modeling (BIM) and integrating models
Willing to work with scheduling in primavera cloud
QualificationsRequirementsEducation
Graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Architectural Technologist, Drafting, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or BIM.
1-3 years professional experience.
