The Entrepreneurship Project Assistant supports the effective delivery of small business services by providing technical, administrative, and program coordination support. This role directly helps implement local initiatives, including Summer Company and New Start, that expand entrepreneurial opportunities for youth and newcomers.
This role also serves as a frontline point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, professional experience for entrepreneurs while contributing to the continuous improvement of program delivery and community outreach.RESPONSIBILITIESData Collection, Analysis & Reporting
- Collection and collation of data from past and current clients
- Data entry into Zoho CRM and creation of reports
- Conduct data analysis and develop reports, summaries, and presentations highlighting the progress of programs and services for internal use and community partners
- Track key performance indicators, client milestones, and program outcomes to support accountability and funder reporting
- Design and update website landing pages for upcoming program initiatives and special events
- Aid in the development and integration of AI into website and presentations to facilitate access to information
- Assist in the automation of repetitive tasks within Zoho CRM and other Zoho applications using Command Centre and Zia AI to better support clients
- Aid in administering and tracking the progress of the Summer Company (youth) and New Start (newcomer) initiatives training programs, maintaining accurate records of activities, client milestones, and grant documentation to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Preparation of materials for programs and core services.
- Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and other general inquiries related to entrepreneurial inquiries, services and programs.
- Provide general administrative support to the project leads as needed.
- Assist with program application intake, eligibility screening, onboarding, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and information events.
- Assist with planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns across various channels like social media, email, and content marketing.
- Help create and manage marketing collateral, including written content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites.
- Using AI tools, conduct market research to understand the target audience and gather data on campaign performance.
- Support communications planning and implementation to promote entrepreneurship programs, events, and success stories.

- Post-secondary education in a related field such as marketing, communications, business, administration, or economic development
- Experience through coursework, volunteer work, or employment involving client service, project coordination, data, or communications is considered an asset.
