- Helping in all aspects of the procurement process including Requests for Quotes, Purchase Orders, Price Lists, etc.
- Maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels and reporting shortages.
- Classifying, labeling, and warehousing all inventory for future use.
- Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
- Communicating with all department managers and the purchasing team on inventory levels and locations.
- Maintaining a record of all transfers and disposal.
- Implementing and following a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence.
- Assisting the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases.
- Completing physical inventory counts as required and reconciling the inventory records for a complete and accurate count.
- Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
- Strong time management skills.
- Good with numbers and places a large emphasis on attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
- Strong computer skills.
- Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be considered an asset.
