
Time & Attendance Supervisor

- Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial controls within both the TRC and Corporate Accounting departments to ensure compliance with corporate requirements including OAR, etc.
- Assist with compliance audits of Inergi HR Payroll Services. Perform work to verify accuracy and timeliness of services.
- Work collaboratively with Inergi to develop and implement and process improvements as they relate to the integration between time reporting and processing of payroll.
- Manage, coach, monitor and assess team performance objectives.
- Develop, implement and maintain methods, standards and procedures for carrying out the work. Assess staffing requirements, lead the selection process and be responsible for development and job training.
- Review staff performance and initiate effective recommendations.
- Deal with problems relating to the interpretation and application of the Collective Agreement and interface with other Lines of Business as necessary to assist with this process.
- Working with the TRC Supervisor, determine the training requirements for staff, including TRC Supervisor, and ensure training is delivered to maintain necessary expertise within time reporting.
- Initiate and support the development, analysis and management of business processes related to time reporting.
- Work with staff and report developers to ensure processes carried out are consistent with the application of policies, internal and control requirements.
- Manage Interfaces with Inergi Pay and line management to resolve pay/time reporting issues. Communicate potential shortfalls, or problems to the Manager and other lines of business.
- Manage the Development and implementation of tracking and reporting systems and integration of business processes and solutions to ensure effective time reporting and work management.
- Develop communication packages relating to pay/time reporting processes and changes to regular processing schedules.
- Provide training and make presentations to various groups, as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
