- Supervise and coordinate all afternoon shift operations across multiple production departments.
- Ensure production schedules are met with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor, providing support, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
- Enforce all health and safety regulations, including machine safety, material handling, and use of hazardous substances.
- Monitor equipment and resolve operational issues in real time to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate shift documentation, pass-down reports, and daily production records.
- Lead and participate in coaching, training, and performance development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement among production employees.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations such as fabrication, machining, bonding, processing, and assembly.
- Proven success managing shift production teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
- In-depth knowledge of OHSA and other industrial health & safety legislation and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
