Mom works from home and needs an extra pair of hands and eyes to help on Wednesday afternoons and all day on Fridays, starting October 17, 2025. About Us: Our boy is sweet, gentle, curious, and loves to explore! We follow the Montessori approach to learning, focusing on independence, creativity, and play. We're hoping to find someone who will enjoy nurturing his curiosity and supporting his development. Our ideal nanny is: • Warm, friendly, respectful and responsible • Energetic, fun, and ready to engage in outdoor play • Patient, creative, and enjoys reading, colouring, and exploring • Comfortable with a screen-free, play-based approach to childcare • Ready to support our potty training efforts (we're in between diapers and underwear) Your Responsibilities: • Supervise meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks) • Help put baby down for afternoon naps. While he's asleep, you'll have free time to yourself, perfect for studying, reading, or relaxing with some TV. • Change diapers as needed (we're currently potty training) • Play with and care for our baby. There is absolutely no housework required of you! Availability: Starting Friday, October 17, 2025: • Wednesdays: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM • Fridays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Future Availability (starting January 2026): Potentially required: • Mondays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM • Wednesdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM • Fridays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ***Please note: 2026 hours may change depending on our family's needs*** What We're Looking For in You: • Experience as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Child Care Assistant (CCA), or in a similar role (e.g., long-term nanny or au pair) • Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record Check (preferred) • First Aid/CPR training (preferred) • Non-smoker • Health & Safety is very important to us: o Please avoid kissing our baby o Always cancel if you're feeling unwell or have been around someone who is sick o Wash or sanitize your hands frequently o Being vaccinated for COVID and flu is preferred o Bonus if you're fluent in Spanish and/or French!
