- Ensure that engineering work is completed and adequately reviewed by the relevant stakeholders in line with the project budget and schedule.
- Ensure that the engineering design is aligned with the project budget and performance expectations.
- Development of comprehensive, clear, specific scopes of work and other relevant procurement documents.
- Work closely with contractors to ensure requests for information (RFIs) are quickly addressed and closed.
- Work closely with the construction team and consultant engineering team to mitigate design and constructability issues.
- Participate in the development of requests for proposals and contractor selection.
- Assure that proper warehousing and storage exists to ensure environmental protection.
- Assist in the development and execution of project schedules and tracking project milestones.
- Monitor project costs and identifying potential cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and best practices.
- Coordinate of pre-commissioning testing with contractors and commissioning of various infrastructure.
- Vendor coordination.
- Information exchange with operational readiness group.
- Other activities as required.

- The role is located at the Magino Mine, which is approximately 88 kilometres northeast of Wawa, Ontario, Canada.
- The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 7 days on / 7 days off (11 hour days).

0 years: Technical diploma with extensive experience is an acceptable substitute to a bachelor's degree.
0 years: 10 years of progressive engineering, project management and construction experience in the mining industry.
