You’ll own the operation end-to-end while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence remain at the forefront.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing teamsProvide ongoing performance feedback to drive productivity and engagementBuild a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementLead within a unionized environment, partnering effectively with union representatives and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreementsOperational & Financial PerformanceDeliver on critical KPIs including Labor to Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and customer service standardsAnalyze warehouse activities and costs to identify process improvementsManage budgets, capital expenditures, material handling equipment, and space utilizationDrive bottom-line results through strategic planning and executionBusiness Growth & Customer FocusPartner with Sales to support marketing and new account strategiesParticipate in prospecting, sales calls, rate development, contract negotiation, and closingStrengthen customer relationships and ensure service excellenceSafety & Quality ExcellenceChampion food safety, quality standards, and regulatory complianceSupport proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution processesEnsure employee health and safety in both cold and dry storage environmentsWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)4+ years of Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related fieldStrong experience managing in a unionized environment (highly preferred/required)Proven ability to develop and execute strategic and annual operational plansStrong financial acumen and cost management expertiseExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesDemonstrated leadership experience managing and developing operational teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Strong communication skills — able to present technical information to diverse audiencesAnalytical mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguityWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
