You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality food experiences while supporting both kitchen and retail operations.We’re looking for someone who is:A critical thinker and problem-solverPassionate about food quality and sustainabilityComfortable working across kitchen and customer-facing environmentsMotivated to contribute to a regenerative food systemKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of dishes to high quality standardsExecute special menu items as directed by managementSupport and oversee daily kitchen operationsMaintain inventory and track food, supplies, and equipmentEnsure all kitchen, storage, and prep areas are clean and sanitizedAssist with menu planning, portioning, and food cost controlSet up and maintain attractive food displaysServe and engage with customers in a retail settingProvide product recommendations and drive sales through suggestive sellingRequirementsMinimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience, ORExperience in a retail food environmentStrong understanding of food preparation, safety, and kitchen operationsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbout VG MeatsVG Meats is a fourth-generation family business committed to producing high-quality, sustainable food through regenerative farming practices.
