- Manage “unavailable inventory” and investigate reasons for discrepancies.
- Handle defective returns, defective products, and write-offs.
- Review high-level inventory adjustments, short picks, and zero/negative inventory to identify root causes.
- Investigate cycle count discrepancies and locate missing products where possible.
- Serve as first line of support for inventory issues - investigate and resolve.
- Assist Operations Supervisor with rewind shortages and vendor follow-up.
- Use the OPS Rewind Report to prioritize high-value/high-risk lots.
- Use Reel vs. Aisle reports to relocate undersized reels to optimal storage locations.
- Ensure primary pick locations are replenished daily from bulk/overstock.
- Complete stock checks and capture product photos as needed.
- Maintain proper product placement through collaboration with the Operations team.
- Activate/deactivate locations and replace labels/dividers as required.
- Ensure FIFO and rotation of expiring goods, including returns to vendors.
- Physically and systematically move product between SKUs when required.
- Ensure all NCR (Non-Conformance Report) material is properly stored and tracked.
- Work with Operations and Purchasing teams to resolve outstanding NCRs.
- Assist in responding to Ontario CDC emails and help troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate across Operations and Purchasing to support smooth workflow and resolution of inventory challenges.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes related to accuracy, flow, and quality.
- Support the Operations Supervisor with ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Experience in warehouse or inventory control environment is an asset.
- Comfort working with reports, data, and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
