We are a neurodivergent working and homeschooling family of three (plus two cats!) looking for a part-time house assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. This is more than just a job to us - we're hoping to find someone who wants to genuinely become part of our family's world, like a trusted friend who happens to be amazing at household management. Responsibilities include: • Dishes and kitchen tidying • Laundry (washing, folding, putting away) • General tidying and light cleaning • Organizing household spaces • Grocery shopping and errands as needed • Creating and implementing household routines and systems Hours & Schedule: We are looking for approximately 5-7 hours per week, ideally spread across multiple days (roughly 1 hour per visit). We are open to discussing a schedule that works for the right candidate. There is also real potential for this role to grow over time. A bit about us: Because we work and homeschool from home, you'll often have all three of us around during your visits. We're a neurodivergent household, which means some days are quite chaotic - our kiddo may have big moments, and we need someone who can take that in stride with patience and without judgement. Our two cats will also likely want to supervise your work lol. You're a great fit if you: • Have previous experience in housekeeping, household management, or a similar support role • Are comfortable working independently in a lively, lived-in home • Are neurodivergent-affirming and calm in unpredictable moments • Are a cat person (or at least cat-tolerant!) • Are trustworthy, warm, and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship with our family Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Are proactive and observant - you notice things without being asked. If the water jugs are getting low, you mention it (or maybe someday just handle it). If we're running low on a favourite staple, you flag it. You spot an opportunity to add a basket or a system that would make a space work better, and you suggest it. We're not looking for someone who only does what's on a list - we're looking for someone who thinks like a partner in keeping the household running. This role has room to grow for the right person.
