Parts ManagerOur client is seeking a Parts Manager to lead and grow parts operations within a truck and trailer or heavy equipment environment. This role is responsible for driving profitable parts sales, strengthening inventory management, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience within a parts or warehouse environment, strong inventory management expertise, and the ability to balance operational discipline with customer‑focused service delivery.Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Manage and optimize parts inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and cost control
  • Grow profitable parts sales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Improve parts department workflows, storage layouts, and administrative processes
  • Ensure efficient flow of parts documentation and paperwork
  • Partner with operations and service leaders to support timely completion of internal jobs
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a results‑driven parts team in a safe and productive environment
  • Schedule staff strategically to ensure coverage during business hours
  • Control departmental expenses and contribute to improved return on investment
  • Collaborate with product support and manufacturing teams to source and stock required components
  • Develop and execute an annual parts sales plan and budget, including cross‑branch support where applicable
  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to identify and maximize cross‑selling opportunities
Your strengths include:
  • 3+ years of experience leading a parts department or warehouse operation
  • Strong knowledge of parts, inventory control, and warehouse procedures
  • Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively across operations, service, and sales teams
  • Discipline in expense management and operational execution
  • HD journeyman partsperson qualification considered an asset
  • Warehouse or logistics management experience considered an asset
