- Manage and optimize parts inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and cost control
- Grow profitable parts sales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Improve parts department workflows, storage layouts, and administrative processes
- Ensure efficient flow of parts documentation and paperwork
- Partner with operations and service leaders to support timely completion of internal jobs
- Lead, coach, train, and develop a results‑driven parts team in a safe and productive environment
- Schedule staff strategically to ensure coverage during business hours
- Control departmental expenses and contribute to improved return on investment
- Collaborate with product support and manufacturing teams to source and stock required components
- Develop and execute an annual parts sales plan and budget, including cross‑branch support where applicable
- Work collaboratively with sales teams to identify and maximize cross‑selling opportunities
- 3+ years of experience leading a parts department or warehouse operation
- Strong knowledge of parts, inventory control, and warehouse procedures
- Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across operations, service, and sales teams
- Discipline in expense management and operational execution
- HD journeyman partsperson qualification considered an asset
- Warehouse or logistics management experience considered an asset
