- Perform a variety of operational tasks within focused work centres or production lines, including setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
- Support equipment repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and address major failure modes to ensure smooth production processes.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing equipment specifications and supporting capital project installations.
- Identify and resolve safety concerns proactively, adhering to all EH&S guidelines and participating in safety programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, supporting the 5S program and ergonomic assessments.
- Minimum high school education with trade school training; Mechanical certificate or Millwright Certificate is an asset.
- 1-3 years of related experience in manufacturing or maintenance roles.
- Knowledge of machine tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC/HMI, photo sensors, vision systems, and thermal printers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively in a team environment.
