- Act as a guiding champion for PCL's SharePoint-based intranet, ensuring it remains effective and aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage strategic site enhancement projects to support the evolving needs of internal clients.
- Conduct interviews and gather requirements from internal clients to define needs and translate them into clear, actionable tasks.
- Prepare and deliver project progress reports and presentations to key stakeholders.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate technical enhancements and ensure quality outcomes.
- Deliver digital content in a way that is visually appealing, intuitive to navigate, and engaging for end users.
- Uphold and support intranet governance, ensuring compliance with brand, content, and publishing standards.
- Monitor and interpret intranet analytics to help shape and improve digital communication strategies.
- Provide writing and editing support to ensure consistent brand voice.
- Partner with creative services to create engaging visual content.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. communications, information design).
- A minimum of seven years in a communications role.
- At least three years of hands-on experience managing intranets and content within Microsoft SharePoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Power BI is considered an asset.
- A strong understanding of information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and governance for enterprise content management solutions.
- A strong understanding of effective user interface and user experience (UI/UX) principles.
- Exceptional customer service and consultation skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills.
