We’re looking for a hybrid Senior Accountant in the construction industry. Our client is a well-established and growing company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, known for its collaborative culture and supportive team environment. This role offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration within a flexible hybrid work environment.Senior Accountant responsibilities:

Manage full cycle accounting and month end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
Assist with project accounting and job cost tracking
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial accuracy and reporting

The successful candidate has:

3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Post secondary education in accounting or finance
Experience in construction or project-based accounting is an asset
Strong knowledge of full cycle accounting and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and within a supportive team environment

Compensation and benefits:

The salary range is $70,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
