Welder/Fabricator – Day Shift | Waterloo, ONAbout the RoleWe’re partnering with a well-respected manufacturing company in Waterloo that takes pride in its team and the quality of their work. If you’re a skilled Welder/Fabricator looking for a steady, day shift role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect fit for you!Responsibilities
  • Repair and improve damaged tooling, guards, and mechanical parts
  • Assist with welding and mechanical breakdowns
  • Fabricate safety and efficiency components
  • Diagnose machine issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints and instructions
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, plasma)
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • Keep the workspace safe and organized
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • College diploma in Millwrighting, Welding Techniques, or equivalent
  • Skilled in multiple welding methods and able to read blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Own tools required; CWB certification preferred
  • 3-4 years of welding/fabrication experience
