Compensation: Base salary $60,000 up to $70,000Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Freight Broker to join a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in freight brokerage, thrives under pressure, and has a proven ability to build and maintain carrier and customer relationships.Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage full-cycle freight brokerage operations
Source and secure carriers to move freight efficiently and cost-effectively
Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Resolve any issues related to shipments, delays, or service concerns
Build and maintain a strong network of carriers and clients
Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met
Work closely with internal teams to meet customer expectationsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in a 3PL freight brokerage role
Strong understanding of transportation logistics and market rates
Experience using TruckMate software is considered an asset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
