Based in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton, this role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile pursuits that shape communities while collaborating with multidisciplinary experts across the region.This is a hybrid role that values flexibility while prioritizing meaningful in-person collaboration. You'll report to the Property & Buildings Proposals Team Lead and play a key role in advancing WSP's growth by delivering compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals.Your ImpactAs a Proposal Coordinator, you will:
- Lead the full lifecycle of complex proposals, from pursuit launch through final submission, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives that directly address client needs and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate closely with technical specialists, business leaders, and marketing partners to develop winning strategies and cohesive content.
- Manage proposal schedules, inputs, reviews, and production while balancing multiple concurrent pursuits.
- Champion quality control standards and continuous improvement across proposal templates, tools, and processes.
- Support business development initiatives that strengthen client relationships and position WSP for future opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience in proposal coordination or technical writing.
- 5+ years of experience in proposal coordination or proposal management; experience within the AEC or engineering consulting sector is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success managing complex proposals, including public-sector RFPs as both Prime and Sub-Consultant.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize technical information.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and SharePoint Online.
- Working knowledge or strong interest in AI-enabled tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT is considered an asset.
- A proactive, collaborative work style with flexibility to support proposal deadlines and participate in in-person collaboration as required.
