Our client, a mid-sized and fast growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Manager for a newly created position. The Manager will provide a wide scope of professional services to clients and manage a team. The role is expected to grow into a more senior position within financial reporting, coaching and office compliance management.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Financial Statement Compilations and Reviews (ASPE Reporting)
  • Corporate, Personal, Trust and other tax reporting with ability to discuss tax implications with team members and clients.
  • Client management and relationship building.
  • Coaching and developing junior staff on projects and overseeing their career development.
  • Communicating with partners and staff regarding client engagements and expectations.
  • Providing the very best possible client service.
What the successful candidate will bring:
  • A CPA designation with a minimum of 5+ years of public practice experience.
  • A desire to grow your career and advance within the firm.
  • Experience with Financial Information Compilations including preparation, review, team and client management and client communications.
  • Financial Statement Reviews including ASPE reporting engagements, preparation and review and ability to discuss tax implications with clients and team members.
  • Strong communication skills including team file management, coaching and building strong client relationships.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage deadlines.
  • Knowledge of agriculture industry would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
