  • Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems. The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.
General Skills:
  • Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
  • Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
  • Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
  • Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
  • Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
  • Defines software, hardware and network requirements
  • Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
  • Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
  • Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
Knowledge Transfer Requirements
  • Knowledge transfer is expected to occur throughout the duration of the assignment through regular meetings, touchpoints, and working sessions with LRC staff.
  • All design, development, artefacts, and source code, including all relevant and complete documents must be transferred to the ministry in the designated repositories provided.
  • Dedicated knowledge transfer sessions will be scheduled during the close-out phase of the project to ensure completeness of knowledge transfer and all documentation is shared and allow LRC staff to ask clarification and/or follow up questions.
SkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements
  • Must have experience with MS CRM Dynamics O365 Online, Power Pages, Power Platform, PowerApps. Dataverse and Power BI
Tools/Technologies - 50%
  • Experience in development, programming, and analysis at Level 3 with MS Dynamics CRM 2013, 2016 Sales, Marketing, and service modules. Customized complex applications on Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform as well as the Dynamics 365/ADX Portal, Dynamics O365 Online, Power Pages and PowerApps.
  • Experience at a Level 3 as MS CRM Dynamics platform Architect.
  • Experience configuring security roles, business units, teams, field security profiles, call outs to CRM API, and CRM plugins.
  • Designing the solution flowcharts for understanding of client and team, deciding on need and use of out-of-the-box features, required configuration and customization for various functionalities and requirements.
  • Modified CRM extensions to interface with other systems through message queues and web services. Effort estimation for configuration, customization, and documentation.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process and develop functional designs that will drive the development process. Experience in developing complex applications on Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform with entity, ribbon and sitemap customizations.
  • Experience in developing of workflows, dialogs, business processes, business rules, dashboards, charts and wizard-based reports.
  • Experience in developing of custom workflows, plug-ins and integrating custom web pages into CRM. Modified CRM extensions to interface with other systems through message queues and web services.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data integration towards import/export of data using custom application development. Experience in use of web services and interacting with MS CRM database using web service methods.
  • Experience with integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Microsoft SharePoint as well as web services.
Programming Languages - 20%
  • Experience in programming and analysis at Level 3 with Microsoft Visual Studio, Web Development skills including HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax to update Dynamics 365 Forms and Portal webpages.
  • Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications.
Database Technologies - 15%
  • Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2016, Azure Dataverse and SQL.
Reporting Technologies - 5%
  • Experience in creating and modifying reporting services for use inside and outside Dynamics CRM. Experience in the use of PowerBI.
Approach/Methodology - 5%
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications. Experience with compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. Experience with Government of Ontario – Information Technology Standards (GO ITS) 54 Standards.
Public Sector Experience - 5%
  • Experience working on Public Sector I&IT Projects.
Must Haves:
