Membership is available to everyone, regardless of gender expression.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Development Manager to lead and grow our sponsorship and fundraising efforts. This role is vital in securing the financial support necessary to fulfill our mission and expand our impact. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and persuasive communicator with a proven track record of building strong partnerships and exceeding goals in the non-profit sector.The Development Manager reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Executive Director, the WIFT+ Toronto and Foundation for WIFT+ Toronto Board of Directors, as well as the Corporate Development Committee to achieve the annual revenue targets.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sponsorship and fundraising strategies that align with WIFT+ Toronto’s goals
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with corporate sponsors, donors, foundations, and community partners
  • Research and identify new sponsorship and funding opportunities across various sectors including out of the screen-based industry.
  • Create compelling proposal decks, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to potential sponsors and funders.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and donor events
  • Track donor engagement, campaign progress and provide impact reports
Lead the annual fundraising auction(s) including sourcing donors, managing all items, running the auction and following up with all winners for payment and delivery of items
